Introducing Reverie: The Ellis 2027 Collection

Designed with Love in London

A dream state, grounded in structure.

Introducing Reverie, the 2027 Collection from Ellis Bridals.

A study in romantic structure, Reverie explores the balance between softness and scale. Inspired by grand interiors, sweeping veils and cinematic light, the collection brings together sculpted silhouettes, controlled volume and details designed to reveal themselves slowly.

Romantic. Poised. Quietly expressive.

Welcome to Reverie.

The Vision Behind Reverie

Reverie began with a fascination with contrast.

Softness against structure. Delicacy against scale. The movement of fabric within a precisely constructed silhouette.

Throughout the collection, Ellis signatures are refined rather than reinvented. Sculpted bodices and precise corsetry create the foundations, while drop waists, Basque shaping and gathered skirts introduce a new expression of volume.

Lace appears more quietly — peeking through layers, tracing necklines and adding softness where it is least expected. Texture is intentional. Detail is deliberate.

The result is a collection that feels romantic without excess, and expressive without losing the restraint at the heart of Ellis design.

Designed in London

Every Ellis collection begins in our London design studio.

From the first sketches, we consider how a gown will look, but also how it will feel and move. Silhouette, proportion, fabric and construction are developed together, with each fitting providing another opportunity to refine.

A seam may move. A neckline may be reconsidered. The fall of a skirt may change completely when a different fabric is introduced.

It is a process of constant adjustment — pinning, fitting, refining and looking again — until every element feels resolved.

Because often, it is the details a bride may never immediately notice that make the greatest difference when she puts on the dress.

A New Expression of Romance

Romance takes many forms in Reverie.

There are sweeping skirts designed to come alive in movement, sculpted silhouettes that frame the body and layers of lace that reveal their intricacy only when viewed up close.

Fabrics play an equally important role. Mikado brings beautiful structure, satin introduces softness and fluidity, while lace, jacquard and texture create depth throughout the collection.

Each gown has its own character, but together they share a distinctly Ellis approach: beautiful proportion, considered construction and a bride at the centre of it all.

More Than One Way to Wear It

Accessories sit at the heart of Reverie.

Detachable sleeves, overskirts, capes, jackets, scarves and veils allow brides to evolve their look throughout the wedding day without leaving behind the dress they fell in love with.

A lace layer can transform a neckline. An overskirt can introduce volume for the ceremony before being removed later in the day. A cape or veil can completely change the mood of a silhouette.

These pieces weren't designed as an afterthought. They were considered alongside the gowns, giving each bride more freedom to make her look feel entirely her own.

Inside the Reverie Campaign

To bring Reverie to life, we wanted a setting that reflected the collection itself.

Grand in scale. Romantic in detail. Filled with cinematic light.

Ornate interiors, sweeping curtains and quiet architectural details created a backdrop against which the gowns could move, allowing softness and structure to exist within the same frame.

But behind every finished photograph are the moments you don't see: a veil being placed, a hem adjusted, fabric moved by hand, a final detail reconsidered before the next frame.

Hundreds of small decisions come together to create the finished campaign — just as they do in the creation of every Ellis gown.

The Story Continues

The Ellis story began in London in 1912, when Ada Ellis made her own wedding dress before opening her London atelier.

Four generations later, much has changed. Silhouettes have evolved, bridal has evolved and every new collection brings another opportunity to explore what an Ellis wedding dress can be.

But the bride remains at the heart of it.

Reverie is the next chapter.
